BMI® provides a lightweight bullet proof plate solution through its own research and development technology based on UHMWPE of DSM, a global partner company.
We released two types of lightweight bullet proof plates according to the bullet proof level so that they can be used according to the user’s mission environment.
Type III+ weighs less than 1.2kg and can be protected from the threat of 7.62mm AK47 bullets, while Type III++ weighs less than 1.6kg and can be protected from the threat of 5.56mm SS109 bullets.
Type IV weighing less than 2 kg
Performance verification was completed through various bullet proof performance tests at the US NTS before the product was released.
The existing bulletproof plate can be protected from 7.62mm AP shells, but due to the weight of 3kg, combat continuity and mobility were limited. However, BMI’s bulletproof plate will be protected from real threats, and combat continuity and mobility will be secured, upgrade combat performance.
